Yes i agree with you that seeing Jim’s POV confirming that Jim himself appreciates not being alone in his head. I didn’t make myself clear so I’ll try to clear up some of the confusion over my thoughts. I mean more that Jim is energetic and illogical in his thinking compared to Spock. He thinks outside the box. Bones is brilliant in his own right but he is also a scientist and Doctor so he has an order to his thinking..such as when he must diagnose or treat a patient. Jim just keeps the other two on their toes, throws a little something into the mix, and i would also believe from my head canon that he can be extremely sweet and vulnerable at the most random of times. Once again throwing them off balance. Like when say Bones goes off on one of his rants about Jim doing something idiotic he now will know how sad Jim gets and that IDK probably worries a bit that Bones is angry enough this time and will leave him. Now that they are in his head, I’m sure Jim is much more secure but it may just be him thinking back to a time in the past when Bones was ranting and he felt what if he left him. Now Bones could sense this memory and be like OMG..sorry Jim I am thinking out loud here but I just think that although all three are unique individuals in their own rights, it is Jim that kind of keeps them on their toes because he is perhaps even more of an emotional person than Bones even. I won’t continue to bore you any longer here…lol..it is just for me Jim is the happiest sad person I have ever met.
