3First, I have to explain a little about my absence. Then we’ll move onto the survey.
I am experiencing a brain meltdown. Three terrible words: fiscal year end. This means a delay in shipments, inventory audits in both facilities and file-digging of epic proportions. Basically, I now work 12-hour days.
Late last night, it was just me and the Executive VP in the office. At one point, she said to me, quite seriously, “Do you even need to go home?”

No, of course not. Leaving the office is totally optional and only necessary when foraging for food.
With this said, I barely manage to type out little pieces of my current WIP. There are times when I expect my brain to revolt against that much. So if my work seems rather flighty or simple, you have my sincerest apologies.
(And, swiss_kun, I haven’t forgotten you!!)

Unfortunately, I suspect 2011 will bring less frequent updates and a shortage of inspiration. The fic/chapter a day was nice while it lasted but has become unrealistic now that I’ve sold my soul for financial security.

Goddamn. 350k!? That is one hell of an accomplishment! That’s the most I’ve seen so far. Don’t worry about the less frequent updates. Though it sucks, IRL has to come first. We’ll deal.
That’s 350K without considering my BigBang. :) That has almost hit 50K itself. Maybe this year I’ll shoot for 500K.
