3A one-time fee seems well worth the price to preserve my sanity. I have officially created new bookmark archives over at Pinboard, the antisocial bookmarking site. (Not anti-social in a psychotic way, mind you!)
This is good because Delicious has become too social for me to handle when all I want most in order to save and tag fics is simple functionality. Sadly, their “improvements” have made the site much more difficult to use for fandom purposes. Yes, promises have been made to return some of the things they took away, but who knows when that will be?
Therefore, in two weeks time, I will say adieu to both archives at Delicious and delete them. By then, we should know if there are any glitches or missing content in the new archives. Honestly I don’t foresee trouble ahead because the transistion was very smooth.

I am glad the transition was easy. I know I enjoy pinboard for many things and will probably be getting rid of Delicious all together. Kudos for getting it all done. :)
Thank you for suggesting Pinboard! I will be happy as long as the layout stays simple and manageable.
I have been using pinboard (for buckleup) since… November/December of 2011. The only changes they have made so far is adding the bundles. So, one change and one week of partial downtime in a year. Not bad imo and the Bundles are a welcome additive.
