4I have not received a single notification of a LJ comment/post in over a week! Is anyone else experiencing these issues? Argh.

It’s been a massive issue in the lj_news comm; if you have a yahoo or hotmail account, for some random reason comments aren’t coming through. There’s a place on the Support page where you can report the issue, I think, or I know several people who’ve just set up a temporary gmail address (I have gmail myself, so I haven’t had a problem; apparently it’s fine) for their LJ comments. :( That can be so annoying; I’m sorry!

As said, it’s an LJ problem, but with an external provider, namely AOL, Yahoo, and others. LJ allowed all these spam journals to be created, didn’t do anything about them, so LJ got marked as a spammer. That meant that anyone that used that external service to identify a spammer (yahoo and AOL are the biggies) would not take ANY e-mail from LJ. So, they’re working on it, but no telling how long it will be to fix. I use gmail so don’t have the problem, still I understand what a pain it is.
It’s so strange, because my email hasn’t had an issue with it until now. But I took the general advice and set up a temporary email (gmail) and forwarding. Hopefully this will solve the problem!
