I took an internet hiatus yesterday after I stayed up until past 3 a.m. polishing my space_wrapped story. Believe it or not, when I was ready to post it at the comm, I had literal heart palpitations – which has never happened to me before over posting fic. I thought oh god, what have I done? and how bad of a flop is this going to be? and posted it anyway because it was a 27k labor of love. Then, yes, I hid under my bedcovers! (I went to bed, LOL.)

It was nice to open up my email this morning and see positive responses. Thank you all. I was less frightened over the fairy tale and more frightened because of the “story within a story” thing. But that’s how it came out. What better way to encourage yourself to write than to have a fictional (or was it real? I’ll leave that up to you to decide…) character urging you on? >.>

Anyway, with this big project out of the way I am going to give some thought to what to work on next. I am kind of busy at Real Work (giving a presentation on scripting today, yippee) this month so we’ll see.
