2Well… No, I have not disappeared.
Currently I am out of town on business (an out of town trip I had to pay for myself because my company is cheap) until late tomorrow afternoon. I thought I would have some time to write since I am traveling alone but it seems day-long training classes tire me out. Also, work has been really crazy. I expect it to get crazier the closer we come to the summer season; then it will be full-out insane.
Some points of interest in the last week or so:
1. I created blackjewelsfics, a bookmarking archive for the fandom Black Jewels because there hasn’t been much organization going on the past besides a few comms.
2. I got a raise at work! :)
3. I have decided to finish Sticks and Stones by my birthday (May 3rd).
So, really, you can tell how exciting my life is. XD

Thanks! I am glad for the raise. And you are right about Big Business – whatever they can do to get around adding to their headcount and offering regular employee benefits… It’s maddening sometimes!
