Can I just say I am happy Pine is back? If you’d asked for my opinion right after STXI, I would have made a face. He’s grown on me by now. Can’t wait to see his “mature Kirk”!
Also, does anyone else wish that it is Pike Kirk is facing in the first gif?
Spock, bb, run a little faster. Pretty sure I just saw the Enterprise take a nose-dive into the SF Bay! :P

I was only sold on pine’s kirk after many rewatchings, so Im thrilled to hope he’ll really be fleshed out well as a character in this one. And regardless, he is verrrry pretty. *pets* :) Am I the only one who thinks the second gif could be a reversal of the reactor room scene in TWO? *has stayed off of tumblr because reasons*

You know I read TWO and thought, yeah, the second movie… that would be Khan! LOL. I am very much open to the idea that it could be a reversal, KCS. In fact, I’m pretty sure Kirk would have done it himself in TWOK if he had realized what was going on. I just know if it’s really anything bad, I am going to cry. End of story.
To be honest, that *is* Pike up there in that first gif. I’d recognize that neck and hint of a jaw, along with the touch of gray anywhere! And, no, I *haven’t* spent way too many hours staring at Bruce Greenwood, why do you ask? :D
