Still alive, still around.

And still caught in a RL drama I’ve now dubbed “The Never-Ending Affair”. I think maybe when it goes away, my muse will come back. Last week – or the week before that? – I started a K/S/M one-shot but didn’t get past 1000 words. I worked on other bits and pieces of writing, too, yet made little progress. Perhaps that’s because every time I feel focused I receive news or a phone call I don’t want.

*sigh* Ever had one of those months? Or two months? Or three? There are a few of you, my friends, that I can name who have. We can commiserate. I think I’m at the point where I have stopped feeling bad and am simply impatient for all the nonsense to pass.

Anyway, I will try my best to post something soon. There are a few little drabbles from over the years I know I can throw the fandom’s way if need be.

i obviously don’t know the particulars, but i can empathize with the exhaustion emotional events in general bring with them. I hope that things do move along for you so things get back on the track you wish to be on. hang in there..and please keep us updated on your well being..we care…

It’s so true. Emotional events seem to stunt you in so many ways. It has to be the stress factor. People react to that in different ways but in general it’s not good for the health. Exhaustion, sickness, depression, mania, etc etc. Normally I can channel that into my writing as a sort of relief but… this time there is the added bonus of writer’s block. Anyway, I’m managing well enough. Thank you for being my friend and for caring. It cheers me up to know I am thought of once and a while.

yeah..you are not kidding with the whole stress thing and to be sure you are thought of more than once in a while. I would like to say this though: when your writer’s block breaks…you are probably going to write the great amercian novel…lol take care

I have NO DOUBT in the midst of your RL struggle, YOU will come out on top! I know what you are feeling and can personally attest to the fact that it IS possible to get on with life, even when you know that there’s some long term sh*t happening all around you. Hang in there. On a personal note: I am 13 pounds away from my 100 pound weight loss goal and feeling great diabetes free and you know what part YOU had in that! ; )

You are amazing, my friend! Congratulations of the life-style change – those can be so hard and I admire you for taking it on and accomplishing all that you’ve wanted to. I’ll say it again: you are amazing!
