Ugh. I cannot focus. I cannot focus on work or focus on writing or – OH LOOK AT THE PRETTY BUTTERFLY GOING BY THE WINDOW…

*headdesk* *headdesk* *headdesk*

I’ve been like this since lunch. Things are not getting done.

*hugs* I just spent six straight hours putting stupid teenage girls’ homecoming dresses back on clothing racks…after four hours of teaching high school Parts of Speech and You Should Be Able to Identify Them By Now For Heaven’s Sake. I can safely say I am not going to be focusing tonight either. :( We can be unfocused together, y/y?

Definitely. I completed my day of brain-fry but getting an awesome dinner, complete with dessert. I figured if it won’t improve I might as well veg out entirely. So far I am less anxious now that my stomach is satisfied. I highly recommend cheesecake.

*wants cheesecake, looks at empty fridge mournfully* Anyway, because I fail and still haven’t been able to write much, I give you the first few lines of my STBB epilogue as a peace offering while I go find a large stick to beat my TOS muse with. *glares at it* — “I guess I’m lucky that anyone believes me,” he said ruefully, picking at the plate of pseudo-pasta that the replicator had graced him with (even Scotty couldn’t make it taste like anything but cheese-flavored silly string). “We don’t, we believe the hobgoblin,” was the dry reply from his left. “Only you would be able to drag him along with you into the screwed-up playground that is Jim Kirk’s mind.” He elbowed Bones, causing the doctor to slosh the contents of his water cup over his scrubs. “Brat.” “Grouch.” “Children,” Spock added sternly in perfect synch, before the bickering could escalate.

:D Thank you for the sneak-peek! I’m really really looking forward to your STBB. You make the trio work so well together, TOS or Reboot. Good luck on beating your muse. I’ve done that – beating mine, not yours >.< LOL. Didn't work. I have been trying to write a fairy tale for two weeks and have only succeeded in writing around the fairy tale. Literally, but that’s whole other aspect. I know what plot I want but I can’t shape it into words. Soooo aggravating!
